This workshop is for you if...

  • Your weekends feel just as busy as your work week, between chores, errands, catching up from the last week, and prepping for the next. The only difference is, on the weekend you're doing it all while trying to be there for your kids.
  • You want to have fun and make memories, but planning adventures and activities feels like so much work and after a busy week, sometimes you just don’t have the energy!
  • You feel disappointed when the weekend's over wishing you'd spent more intentional time with your kids instead of using screen time or wanting it to be naptime just so you can get stuff done.
  • You never feel like you get enough done. You have high expectations for your weekend to-do list but things never seem to go according to plan.
  • You need a weekend to recover from your weekend. With everything you try to do during the weekend, somehow you can never find the time to rest and recharge.

Join me for this free workshop where you'll learn the process of planning a weekend that works for you, and then put it into practice with my help.

In this workshop, you'll learn:

  • One simple question to ask yourself and your partner before each weekend so you can create a weekend that works for both of you!
  • How to plan your weekends in a way that combines productivity, relaxation, and fun so that you feel good about how you used your time.
  • How to prioritize fun and pleasure while still getting shit done because life is about more than just work and chores!
  • How to say no to the things that make your weekends exhausting so that you can make space for what recharges you.
  • My process for evaluating your weekends, deciding what you want, and creating a plan to make your vision a reality.

My weekends were anything BUT relaxing...

With 3 young kids, 2 full-time working parents, extracurricular activities, and a house with endless projects and repairs, our weekends were anything but fun and relaxing. I would crash on the couch Friday night, completely exhausted from a busy work week, and then wake up Saturday morning and begrudgingly hit the ground running. My to-do list was a mile long, our calendar was full of soccer games, play dates, nap times, and errands, and on top of that I would try to tackle a house project, do a little work to catch-up, and try to prep 2-3 meals for the week ahead. By Sunday afternoon I was exhausted, sore, grumpy, and frustrated.

Why couldn't I get everything done? I didn't even get to rest or relax for 5 minutes! How are all of these other families having fun? I need a 3-day weekend every weekend!

But the truth is, even when I got a 3-day weekend it still didn't feel like enough. With an extra day, I just tried to do even more. What took me 5 years of working full-time and parenting to learn, was that weekends should be about doing less and living more. That just because you have "more time" at home than you do during the work week doesn't mean you have to fill it.

It takes restraint to slow down and prioritize fun, rest, and pleasure, but if you don't, you'll find yourself looking back on this time and realize that ALL you did was work, in one way or another, 7 days a week. I want to teach you the skills you need to do less and live more.
